Testimonial from a patient with POTS/Dysautonomia symptoms after treatment with Dr. Brian
Dysautonomia (commonly referred to as POTS) is a syndrome characterized by instability in a part of the brain and nervous system, leading to significant and sometimes debilitating symptoms. Many people search for answers for their dysautonomia symptoms, and although there are some different options from traditional treatments, many people are stuck with lingering symptoms even after these traditional treatments (increased water, salt, etc). I have designed my clinic to evaluate and address the instability and weakness in nervous system that crucial in retraining and restabilizing POTS and dysautonomia symptoms. There is hope for recovery from POTS and dysautonomia symptoms – below is a testimonial from a patient that suffered from many symptoms stemming from dysautonomia, and her response following treatment for POTS and dysautonomia:
“I saw Dr Brian back in November (early Jan now). I’d been diagnosed with dysautonomia, scoliosis, and severe leaky gut back in 2023 after being sick for 2 years. During this time frame (some of these symptoms would come and go), I had frequent migraines leading to vomiting, dizziness, and severe food sensitivities I never had before (to gluten, dairy, soy, and corn). I would have what De Brian called a body reboot - basically my BP would drop, I would lose ability to talk, have uncontrolled tremors, and couldn’t walk. Usually a throat tightness, severe shortness of breath would alert me that my “crash” was on its way. I had severe temperature sensitivity, crashing at simply walking outside of it were chilly regardless of what I was wearing (same deal with hot weather.) My symptoms just kept getting worse. For a time, things improved when I became very strict with nutrition and diet, but we could never figure. Out the last few pieces of the puzzle. My general well-being would be a lot better between crashes, but out of the blue I would be in bed again unable to feed myself. (I’m a 34- fit mother of 4 so this was very humbling and difficult being the one needing help!). When I was one day googling dysautonomia, Dr Brian’s clinic came up. It seemed too good to be true - someone who knows how to fix dysautonomia. But since I was basically living in bed, we needed to explore some more options (after no success with a cardiologist, immunologist, endocrinologist, and limited help with another chiro.)After a phone consult with Dr Brian, my husband and I knew we had to at least try. So off we traveled to Michigan. I’m so glad we did. His care was thorough, informative, gentle and passive on my part. And it worked. I went from an estimated 30% stability level to a present 90% stability. I can take my dogs for walks again; I’ve organized the whole house including attic. My food sensitivities disappeared. I awake in the morning feeling rested - before my alarm. And yesterday I was setting up a big 3- seater couch by myself - flipping it over, screwing feet onto it, getting up, bending over, standing up suddenly - and before just going from sitting to lying too fast would cause a reaction. We think COVID triggered this, and I truly feel I have a wonderful gift of youth and strength back - something I’ve not felt for a LONG time.”
